Island Trips

Island trips – Kabaira Beach Hideaway is the Gateway to the reefs and islands along the remote reaches of the North Coast of New Britain Island. A day trip to Swallows (Palata) Island is highly recommended, with its white sandy beach and a surrounding reef that is great for snorkelling. Further afield are the remote Talele Islands which are perfect for a “Survivor” type overnight camping experience.

Land Tours

Land & Harbour Tours – customised tours can be arranged to explore the breathtaking natural sites of the volcanoes, Simpson Harbour and the rich history of Rabaul, Kokopo and the Gazelle Peninsula. We also have experience assisting people wanting to retrace the steps of relatives and ancestors.

An alternative for the more adventurous traveller wanting to explore the Gazelle Peninsula is to travel on the local PMV (public motor vehicle) buses. We are more than happy to offer advice and directions as needed.
